Two platforms, one calendar.

Bookings from Airbnb and Booking come together through their iCal feeds in the calendar on the site itself. A night sold on one platform no longer shows as free here.

The house was already on Airbnb and Booking.

No.4 Lange Ast is a modern timber house in the village, with three bedrooms, a sauna, a wood-fired hot tub and a shared heated pool. Guests found it through the big letting platforms.

If you let through the big platforms, you pay commission on every booking. Your own site can take direct requests, but only if the calendar is right: a night sold through Airbnb must no longer show as free on the site.

The owner, Bruno, already had a WordPress site with his hosting provider. We built on top of it without moving anything: a site of his own in four languages, with a calendar that merges the Airbnb and Booking availability, and a request form that goes straight to him.

Site and calendar are running, requests arrive by email. A next version, where the owner approves requests with one click in his email, is built, tested and ready to install. That way any holiday home on Airbnb and Booking can also let direct.
