Corporate video cost with a small Belgian or Dutch maker usually lands between 1,500 and 4,500 euros excl. VAT for a company film of one to two minutes. A Flemish video agency quotes 1,500 to 2,000 euros for an average all-in project; a Dutch production house puts a brand film with a full crew at 10,000 to 30,000 euros. Those are the ranges video makers publish in 2026. At VBS you get a price per shoot day after a first call, split into the same lines as the table below, so you can lay it next to any other quote line by line.
This guide splits a quote into its parts, works out five kinds of video, shows what a well-prepared shoot day yields and lists what the price leaves out. What we do with video is on corporate video.
Cost per item
| Item | Price, excl. VAT | What drives it |
|---|---|---|
| Shoot day, freelance videographer | 500 to 1,500 euros | Camera, light, sound, one or two people |
| Shoot day, production house | 2,500 to 8,000 euros | Director, crew, several cameras |
| Crew role at a production house | 400 to 1,200 euros a day each | Sound, light, assistant, styling |
| Editing | 50 to 100 euros an hour | Length, subtitles, number of versions |
| Drone | 250 to 1,000 euros on top | Pilot, registration, weather |
| Reel package, Flemish maker | 595 to 1,575 euros for 2 to 12 reels | Number of reels, filming time, photos |
What raises the price most: several locations or shoot days, a script with actors, a voice-over and versions in several languages. An interview with your founder and footage of your team in one place fits in a day.

Reels: the cheapest minutes you will film
A maker in Flanders, northern Belgium, sells reel packages from 595 euros excl. VAT (about 1.5 hours of filming, two reels and 15 photos) to 1,575 euros (about six hours, 10 to 12 reels and 40 to 60 photos). The trick works on any shoot: while the set is up, ask for short vertical takes. It costs editing hours, not an extra day; what a month of social costs on top is in social media management pricing. For Les Terrasses de Durbuy, a holiday villa in the Belgian Ardennes, we made a launch reel and a golf reel, filmed with an external videographer; the golf reel later ran as an ad on Meta.
Corporate video cost by type
Our own worked examples with the prices above, excl. VAT. Every item sits inside the published ranges.
| Type of video | What is in it | Roughly |
|---|---|---|
| Reels for a month of social | 1.5 to 3 hours of filming, 2 to 6 reels, photos | 595 to 975 |
| Recruitment video | Half a day of filming, two colleagues interviewed, a one to two minute edit | 1,500 to 2,500 |
| Company film for your home page | One shoot day, founder interview, footage of the work, voice-over | 2,200 to 4,500 |
| Film plus reels from one day | The film above, six reels from the same footage, drone | about 3,000 |
| Brand film with crew and script | Several shoot days, direction, actors or locations | 10,000 to 30,000 |
The film-plus-reels row is the worked example in the figure above: a shoot day with a freelance videographer at 1,000 euros, twelve hours of editing at 75 euros for the film, eight hours for six reels and a drone at 500 euros.
What drives the price
- Shoot days and locationsOne place, one day stays affordable; every extra location costs travel, set-up and light.
- The scriptAn interview needs good preparation. A story with actors and scenes needs a writer, a director and rehearsal.
- The crewOne videographer, or a team with sound, light and direction.
- EditingVersions, lengths, subtitles, animated text or logo.
- The voiceA professional voice-over is a separate cost, per language.
- UsageHome page only, or a campaign across TV and online: the wider the use, the more often makers price rights or music separately.
A video in several languages
For a business selling across Europe, a second language is normal. There are three ways: subtitles (cheapest, a few hours of editing and translation), a second voice-over over the same footage (a second voice and mix), or an interview in each language (a second take, so more filming time). Plan it up front: filming a French or German take on the day itself saves a second shoot. We build multilingual websites the same way, with their own text per language.
Freelancer, production house or your own phone
- Hire a freelance videographerfor an interview, reels or your team at work in one place.
- Hire a production housewhen you need a script, actors, several locations or broadcast quality.
- Film yourselffor weekly reels and short updates. Good for pace, not for the film on your home page.
Drone footage in the EU
Drone shots add 250 to 1,000 euros to a shoot day. The rules are European: under EASA's open category a pilot flies at most 120 metres above ground, and drones with a camera must be registered. The same rules apply to hobby and business flights; each country adds its own details, such as liability insurance for the pilot and local no-fly zones. Ask your maker for their operator registration and insurance, and for a shoot abroad, which local rules they checked.
What the quote leaves out
- Licensed musicRoyalty-free tracks cost a subscription or a fee per track.
- Ad spendRunning a reel as an ad is paid to Meta or TikTok on top; see Facebook ads cost.
- A second languageSubtitles or a voice-over in French, German or English means extra editing and translation.
- Cast, location hire or stylingOnly when the script calls for it.
- Extra revision roundsAsk how many are included.
- A place on your siteA video on a slow page helps nobody; host the film on a video service and embed it so the page stays fast. Test the page with the website speed test.
Pitfalls in a video project
- No goal up frontA film that must work on the home page, in job ads and in ads becomes good at none. Pick the main goal.
- Filming only landscapeIf you want reels later, ask for vertical takes while the set is up.
- Raw footage gone after deliveryAgree who keeps the raw files and for how long. They hold reels for later.
- A film nobody seesPlan where it goes: your home page, a landing page, your social channels or an ad.
Ask your video maker before you sign
- How many hours or days of filming are included, and at how many locations?
- Which versions do you get: lengths, landscape and vertical, with or without subtitles?
- How many revision rounds are included, and what does an extra one cost?
- Who provides licensed music, and may you also use it in ads?
- Who keeps the raw footage, for how long, and can you request it?
- Is the price with or without VAT, and what do travel and drone cost?
Shoot days, edits and drones
