Advertising in Ghent

Advertising agency in Ghent for campaigns that run online

Ads, video and the page they lead to, in every language you sell in, made at the Sint-Baafsplein.

An advertising agency without a printing press

Looking for an advertising agency in Ghent, you find agencies for posters, brochures, fairs and radio. VBS runs the part that happens online: ads on Google, Facebook and Instagram, the video and reels that fill them, and the page they lead to. Online, a campaign can be measured down to the lead and adjusted while it runs.

This page is for companies from abroad that sell in Belgium and for international businesses based in Ghent. It covers which agency fits your plan, what online advertising costs here and in the markets around it, the city's rules for signs and leaflets, how shops on one street get a joint campaign part-funded, and where campaigns lose money.

A budget starts with the number of leads you want

  1. 0110 leadsWhat you want each month, for example as a builder in Ghent.
  2. 025 percentThe share of visitors who send a request on your landing page.
  3. 03200 clicks10 divided by 0.05: that many visitors you need.
  4. 042.50 euros a clickThe middle of the Belgian range for construction on Google.
  5. 05500 euros a monthYour ad budget, paid to Google directly. With a page that converts 10 percent, half of that.

A worked example, not a promise: your real cost per click and conversion rate show after a few weeks of running.

Which agency fits your plan

  • Choose an online agency ifyou need leads or sales you can count, in Belgium or from it, and want to move budget each week to what works.
  • Choose a traditional advertising agency ifyou need billboards, radio, print or a trade fair stand. We do not do those, and an agency that does them daily does them better.
  • Choose both ifyou open a venue or launch in Ghent: posters and leaflets around the address, the same message online for people who search or scroll nearby. Then both agencies work from one image and one line.
  • Choose to test before you localise ifyou are a brand from abroad. Run a small campaign in one Belgian language for a month, see the cost per lead, then decide whether the second language pays.

What online advertising costs in Belgium and next door

Belgium is one of the cheaper markets in Western Europe to reach people on Meta. Median cost per thousand impressions and per click, over the months from October 2025 to mid 2026:

Netherlands9.66 dollars0.73 dollars
Ireland9.79 dollars0.73 dollars
United Kingdom10.16 dollars0.76 dollars
Germany10.19 dollars0.77 dollars

On Google you pay per click, and the sector sets the price:

Construction and B2B services1.50 to 5.00 euros

With ads, Facebook reaches 6.2 million people in Belgium and Instagram 5.1 million. The figure above works a budget back from the leads you want; run your own with the Google Ads budget calculator, the ROAS calculator and the marketing budget calculator. Detail per channel is in how much Google Ads costs and how much Facebook ads cost, and which one fits your goal in Meta ads or Google Ads.

Advertising on the street in Ghent

If you run a shop, a restaurant or an office in Ghent, part of your advertising hangs on your facade or goes through letterboxes, and the city has rules for both. We do not make signs or leaflets, but you should know what the city asks before you plan a campaign around them. The figure below sets out what is free, what needs a permit or a tax, and when the city pays part of a joint campaign.

Advertising in Ghent: free, permit or tax?

  • AllowedYour business name on your facade, unlitNo permit if it sits between your shop window and the first floor. A sign at right angles may be up to 60 by 60 cm and 10 cm deep; one such sign and one name per facade.City of Ghent, signs and facade elements

  • Not allowedAn ad that misleads consumersAny consumer can complain for free to Belgium's advertising ethics jury, which then asks for the ad to be changed or stopped.Rules of the Belgian advertising jury (JEP), 2026

Unsure about a sign? The city's public space unit (innames@stad.gent) and building desk (bouwen@stad.gent) are both at the city office, Woodrow Wilsonplein 1.

Campaigns in Dutch, French and English

Belgium has three official languages, and Ghent adds English in offices and at the university. A campaign in English reaches the international crowd and misses most local buyers; one in Dutch misses Brussels and Wallonia. We set up each language as its own ad set with its own copy and landing page, written for that audience, not translated. If your site is not ready for that, multilingual website development explains how we build it.

What video costs for a campaign

Flemish video makers that publish their prices quote, before VAT:

WhatWhat you getPrice in Belgium
Short content shootabout ninety minutes of filming, two reels, photosaround 595 euros
Half a filming dayabout three hours, six reels, a 45-second company videoaround 975 euros
Full video projectscript, direction, shoot, edit and revisions1,500 to 2,000 euros
Drone footage on topaerial shots of your venue or sitearound 250 euros extra

One shoot day gives you reels, ads in every format and photos for your site; more in corporate video cost. Filming in a Ghent street needs a city permit; how that works is on our page for a social media agency in Ghent.

Where campaigns lose money

Filmed in Ghent, by us

We make video ourselves: a shoot day at your place or in our office, with camera and light, edited into reels and ads in every format.

Our office at the Sint-Baafsplein doubles as a set: the photo is a recording for our own reels.

Questions from companies abroad

Can you run our campaign in Belgium if we are based abroad?
Yes. The ad accounts stay in your name, we set up and run the campaigns, and you see every euro of ad spend on your own invoice from Google or Meta.
Do you translate our existing ads?
We write each language for its own audience, from what people in that market search for and respond to. Your team checks the product terms.
What budget do we need to start?
Work back from the leads you want, as in the figure on this page. A local campaign in Belgium can start with a few hundred euros a month of ad spend; national or multilingual campaigns need more.

Google Ads

How VBS runs your campaign from Ghent

We set up Google Ads and Facebook and Instagram ads, shoot the corporate video and reels ourselves, and build the page they lead to, in each language you sell in. For SN Group, a builder from Ghent, reels and carousels ran as ads between January and September 2026; the golf reel of Les Terrasses de Durbuy ran from December 2025 to January 2026. For managing a campaign we agree a fixed price per campaign or per month after a first call. Book a call and tell us what you sell, to whom and in which languages.

A campaign you can measure?

Tell us what you want to sell, to whom and in which languages. We come back with a proposal for the channels and the images.

Optional, if you prefer a call.

What do you want to achieve, and what is already there?

We only use your details to reply to you.
