Social media in Antwerp
Social media agency for Antwerp businesses
A plan per language and platform, footage we shoot ourselves and posts you can measure.

Your audience scrolls in more than one language
A social media agency in Antwerp plans, produces and posts your content on Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and TikTok, and measures what it brings. For an international company the first question is not which platform, but which language: your Flemish customers, your English-speaking team and your international clients do not read the same posts.
This page is for companies in Antwerp that work in English: how to split a content plan by language, which formats work where, what a shoot day gives you and what social media management costs in Belgium.

Splitting a content plan by language
Most Antwerp companies we talk to have one main language and a second one. Running three languages properly takes a team; two is realistic for most.
| Who you want to reach | Language of the post | What works |
|---|---|---|
| International clients and partners | English | case studies on LinkedIn, reels with subtitles |
| Flemish customers and neighbours | Dutch | short reels, news from your business, offers |
| Staff you want to hire | both, on LinkedIn and Instagram | the team at work, real vacancies |
| Clients from Brussels and Wallonia | French, only if someone on your team answers in French | a separate series, never machine-translated |
Two rules keep it workable. A reel carries subtitles in the second language, so one shoot serves both audiences. And never post in a language nobody in your company speaks: when a customer replies in it, someone has to answer. How the same language question plays out on your website and in Google is covered on our pages for an SEO agency in Antwerp and multilingual website development; for campaigns built around video, see our advertising agency in Antwerp.
Which format on which platform
| Platform | Formats that carry | How often | Who you find there |
|---|---|---|---|
| reels, carousels, stories | two or three posts a week, stories daily | consumers, hospitality, retail | |
| text with a photo or document | one a week | buyers, partners, candidates | |
| reels, events, photos | one or two a week | locals, families, older customers | |
| TikTok | short, fast video | three a week or it does not work | a young audience, students |

What a shoot day gives you
Good social media starts with images that are yours. Followers recognise stock photos and app templates at once. So we plan shoot days: half a day or a full day at your business, filming and photographing everything the next weeks need.
In May 2026 we shot the material for four reels for our own team this way, plus photos for posts and our site. For Les Terrasses de Durbuy, a holiday lodge in the Ardennes, we made a launch reel and a golf reel with an external videographer, and carousels for the months after. A well-prepared shoot day can give you one to two months of content, if you know beforehand which stories you want to tell.
- Before the shootwe list the shots per post: what is on screen, who speaks, which text goes with it.
- On the daywe film vertically, record sound separately and always take a few extra openings, because the first seconds decide whether someone keeps watching.
- After the shootwe edit per platform, add subtitles in both languages and schedule the posts.
If you need a longer film for your site or a trade fair, see corporate video.
What you do yourself and what an agency does
Outsourcing social media does not mean you are out of it. The best results we see come from businesses that keep a few things in-house.
| Task | You | Agency |
|---|---|---|
| Plan and stories per month | input on what is happening | working it out, agreeing with you |
| Shoots | your place, your team, customers who want to join | filming, photography, editing |
| Posting and scheduling | approving | scheduling, subtitles, adapting per platform |
| Comments and messages | answering questions about your offer and bookings | first line, if agreed |
| Measurement | saying what a customer is worth | reporting what posts and ads brought |
Plan an hour a week for approvals and replies. Two rules apply in Belgium as everywhere in the EU: anyone recognisable on screen gives consent, and a business account cannot use any popular track on Instagram or Facebook; pick music cleared for commercial use. If you work with creators, the post must say clearly that it is advertising.
What social media management costs
The price depends mostly on how much content has to be produced, not on the number of posts. Our guide to social media management pricing lists the ranges Belgian agencies quote, per package and per shoot day. If you advertise, your ad budget comes on top; Facebook ads cost shows what that means.
With VBS you agree a fixed price for what gets shot and posted, before anything starts. No package with a set number of posts you have to fill.
Measuring what social media brings
Followers and likes are easy to count and say little about sales. Agree on three numbers before the first post goes out: messages and booking requests from Instagram and Facebook, visits to your site from social media, and, if you advertise, the cost per lead or booking. Tag the links in your profile and your ads so your analytics can tell which post brought a visit. After three months you know which formats and which language bring customers, and you can stop what does not.
Hiring through social media
For many international companies in Antwerp, social media is as much about recruiting as selling. Candidates look at your Instagram and LinkedIn before they apply: who works there, what the office looks like, which languages people speak. A monthly post that shows the team at work, and a short reel per open role, bring more candidates than a job board alone. Write the vacancy in the language the job is done in.
Mistakes we see with international companies
- Only posting in EnglishFine for your clients, invisible to the Flemish candidates and customers you also need.
- The same post everywhereA LinkedIn post as an Instagram reel does not work, and the other way round.
- No path to your siteWhoever reacts to a reel must be able to book, buy or call. Point your profile to the right page; if you do not have it, start with website design.
- Counting followersLook at messages, bookings and visits to your site from social media. Reviews matter too: the Google review link generator gives you a link to share.
