Odoo pricing runs from 0 to 44.90 euro per user per month billed yearly: one app is free, Standard costs 19.90 euro and Custom 35.90 euro billed yearly. Those prices hold for the first 12 months. After that you pay 24.90 and 44.90 euro billed yearly, or 31.10 and 56.90 euro billed monthly. Even so, the licence is often not the biggest cost: for a company of 15 people, the help to set Odoo up costs more in year one than all the licences together.
Ask with every quote whether the amounts include VAT, especially if you buy from another EU country, and what you pay after the first 12 months. How Odoo compares on price with Business Central and Exact is worked out for three company sizes in ERP cost.
What drives your Odoo bill each month
- How many apps you useWith one app you stay on the free plan, for as many users as you like. If that app needs others, such as eCommerce pulling in Website and Invoicing, those come free too. Install a second app and you move to Standard, paid per user.
- Who counts as a userYou pay for everyone who creates, views or edits anything in Odoo, and for every employee in the HR app without a user of their own. Customers and suppliers who check their invoices in the portal do not count. For staff who only log leave, expenses or their own schedule there is a light user at 7.90 euro, arranged through an Odoo advisor.
- Whether you customiseOdoo Studio, custom modules, the external API or several companies in one database require the Custom plan. Installing Studio or adding a second company moves you there automatically.
- Where Odoo runsStandard runs on Odoo Online, with hosting and up to 100 GB of storage included. Custom also lets you run on Odoo.sh or your own server. Odoo.sh is billed separately by workers, storage and staging environments; ask for that price before you start on your own modules.
If you sell into countries with mandatory e-invoicing, such as Belgium with Peppol since January 2026, check which apps and connectors that takes before you count users.
This guide adds it all up: licences per plan, who counts as a user, implementation in hours, what comes after year one, and three worked examples for companies of 5, 15 and 40 people. What an ERP is and when you need one is in CRM vs ERP and the glossary entry ERP.

Our own worked example in euros, with Odoo's prices: everyone a user, yearly billing, one Success Pack with the new-customer discount. Ask whether VAT is included. Partner work, Odoo.sh hosting and upkeep of custom modules come on top.
Where the bill really sits: the partner
Once you switch on more than one or two apps, implementation becomes the biggest cost of year one. In the example above it is 57 percent at 15 people and 49 percent at 40. Implementation means mapping your processes, configuring Odoo, importing your customers, products and open balances, training your team and adapting where needed.
Odoo sells that work itself as Success Packs, a block of hours with a dedicated consultant:
| Success Pack | Hours | Price | First pack, 15 percent off |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter, simple apps, 1 to 5 users | 4 | 587.06 | 499 |
| Basic | 25 | 3,100 | 2,635 |
| Standard, with help on data import | 50 | 5,500 | 4,675 |
| Custom, also customisation | 100 | 9,900 | 8,415 |
| Pro | 200 | 19,800 | 16,830 |
New customers get 15 percent off their first pack, so 499 euro for Starter up to 16,830 euro for Pro. Travel time and travel costs for on-site consulting come on top. Per hour that is roughly 99 to 147 euro before the discount.
Companies with more than 50 employees usually work with a partner for project management, and those above 250 deal with Odoo directly. Partners usually bill per day of consulting or development, and rarely publish that day rate. Ask for an estimate in hours plus a day rate, and set it against the packs above.
Odoo pricing for 5, 15 and 40 people
Our own worked example: everyone is a user, billed yearly, with one Success Pack at the new-customer discount.
| Company and plan | Year one: licences plus implementation | Year one in total | Year two, licences |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 people, quotes and invoices, Standard | 1,194 plus Starter pack 499 | 1,693 | 1,494 |
| 15 people, plus stock and purchasing, Standard | 3,582 plus Standard pack 4,675 | 8,257 | 4,482 |
| 40 people, customisation and two entities, Custom | 17,232 plus Pro pack 16,830 | 34,062 | 21,552 |
At 5 people the licence is the biggest line; at 15 and 40, implementation is about half. For the third company add Odoo.sh hosting and maintenance of custom modules, which are not in this table.
What comes after year one
- The discount ends. Standard billed yearly goes from 19.90 to 24.90 euro per user, Custom from 35.90 to 44.90 euro. For the 15 people in the example that is 4,482 euro in licences in year two.
- Custom modules need upkeep. Odoo charges a monthly fee to maintain extra modules and code, and each new version can affect them. Upgrading Odoo itself is included in every plan.
- Odoo.sh hosting, if you run custom modules.
- Credits for extra services, such as SMS, lead generation and the AI that scans supplier invoices.
If that sum feels heavy for what you actually use, see the Odoo alternatives by type of company. If your work fits no package at all, a custom software build is the other route, from our team in Ghent, Belgium, for companies anywhere in Europe.
Odoo and e-invoicing in Belgium and the EU
Since 1 January 2026 Belgian businesses send each other structured e-invoices, and more EU countries follow. Check whether and how your Odoo version sends and receives e-invoices over Peppol, and who handles your registration. For Belgium, see e-invoicing in Belgium and Peppol registration; check whether a company is reachable with the Peppol check.
Who Odoo fits, and who it does not
- Odoo fitsif you want several parts of your business on the same data: sales, stock, purchasing, online store and accounting, and you are willing to adapt your way of working to the package.
- A more focused tool fitsif you mainly have quotes, projects and invoices, like a service business; see Teamleader alternatives.
- Another ERP may fitif you need something Odoo does not do well for your sector; the options are in Odoo alternatives.
- Custom fitsif your work has rules no package knows, or you need three other tools next to Odoo. Whether to build or buy is weighed in build vs buy software.
Before you sign an Odoo quote
- Count who really needs a user, and who can be a light user.
- Ask whether the prices include VAT.
- Write down what you pay after 12 months, not only the introductory price.
- Ask for the implementation in hours and per day, with what is included: analysis, import, training.
- Ask which custom modules are needed and what their upkeep costs per month.
- Agree where Odoo runs: Odoo Online, Odoo.sh or your own server, and who pays for hosting.
- Check how e-invoices go out and come in for each country you sell to.
- Put in writing how you take your data with you if you ever leave.
