Websites for plumbers
Web design for plumbers who want the phone to ring from their own site

1,500
A plumber website that shows where you work, what you fix and how fast you come, with a form that collects the address, a photo and a time before you ring back.
Web design for plumbers is built for the search at 9 pm
Web design for plumbers has a narrow brief. Someone has water coming through the kitchen ceiling, or a landlord needs three gas safety checks before March, and they are searching on a phone. They look at the map, open two or three sites, and ring the one that looks local, real and quick. The rest of the web design is detail.
So a plumber website does not need a showreel. It needs a page for each service you want more of, a page for each town you really cover, your Gas Safe registration where people look for it, reviews, and a form that asks for what you need to price the job. Website design for plumbers gets those right first, and only then worries about colours.
Speed matters more than on most sites. A customer with a leak is on mobile data in a hallway, not on office broadband. We build plumber websites as static pages that open in a moment on a weak signal, with the phone number and the form in the first screen. Below we set out which pages to build, what the form should ask, how your own site compares with a lead directory, what it costs and what to watch in the first three months.
What a plumber website needs before launch
A page per service
Leaks, blocked drains, boiler servicing, landlord gas safety checks, bathrooms. One page each, written from your own jobs, so a search for one of them lands on the right answer.
A page per town you cover
Portishead, Clevedon, Nailsea, Keynsham: each with the jobs you do there and how quickly you get there. No copied text with the town name swapped. How towns and services rank is on SEO for plumbers.
Proof you may do the work
Gas work is for a Gas Safe registered engineer only, and customers know it. Show your registration, your engineers and photos of finished jobs, not stock pictures of smiling men with spanners.
Reviews that keep coming
A steady flow of recent reviews matters more than a big old number. Ask at the end of every job with a direct link: the review link generator makes one in a minute.

The pages that bring in plumbing work
Not every page earns the same. A plumbing firm that wants more boiler servicing contracts needs different pages from one that lives off emergency call-outs. This is how we plan the site with you.
| Page | Who searches | What the page must show |
|---|---|---|
| Emergency plumber in a town | A tenant or owner with water on the floor, right now | A phone number at the top, the hours you answer, how soon you can be there |
| Landlord gas safety checks | Landlords and letting agents | That you handle several properties in one visit and send the record to tenants |
| Boiler servicing | Owners who want a contract, not a one-off | What a service includes, how you remind them next year |
| Blocked drains | Mostly urgent, often a business | Equipment, areas, what happens if it is not a quick fix |
| Bathroom fitting | Owners planning months ahead | Real projects with photos, how long a refit takes, how to get a quote |
| Boiler replacement | Owners with an old boiler that keeps failing | The brands you fit, the steps, what you need from them to quote |
Each page links to its towns and back, and to the request form. Your Google profile does the other half: set up your Google Business Profile and pick the right Google Business Profile categories so the map and the site tell the same story. If the site does not show up at all, start with why a website is not showing on Google.

A request form that does half the job sheet
Most plumbing sites end with a box that says "your message". The plumber then rings back to ask the address, what is leaking, which boiler it is and when someone is home. That call is where a good lead goes cold.
A form built for the trade asks those questions itself. The type of job first, so the form only shows the fields that matter: for a leak, where it is and whether the water is off; for a boiler, a photo of the data plate; for a landlord, the addresses and when the current records run out. Then a preferred time, and a phone number.
That request can land straight in your planning as a job, with the photos attached: see the work order app. Photos of a bathroom or a boiler can become a first quote, which the AI quote generator drafts and you check. And if the whole firm needs a system, from job sheet to gas safety records, read software for plumbers.
A lead directory or your own plumber website
Many plumbers start on directory sites. They can bring work, but they are rented ground.
- Who owns the customer
- Lead directoryThe directory, which may send the same lead to others
- Your own websiteYou: the request comes to you alone
- Your services and towns
- Lead directoryA profile in their template
- Your own websiteA page for each, written from your own jobs
- What the form asks
- Lead directoryWhat the directory decides
- Your own websiteThe address, photos and the details you need to price
- When you stop paying
- Lead directoryThe profile and its reviews stay on their site
- Your own websiteThe site and its pages keep working
Use a directory if it brings work, but build on a site that is yours. Google reviews stay with your own profile either way.

Two things only a plumber website needs
Two things set a plumber website apart from a site for most small businesses.
The first is urgency. A burst pipe does not wait for page two. Emergency pages need a phone number that is visible without scrolling, the hours you really answer, and nothing that slows a phone down. If you run ads for emergency work, they point at those pages, not at your homepage: see landing page design and how Google Ads works for local businesses. What a sensible budget looks like is in Google Ads cost.
The second is people. Many plumbing firms could take more work if they had one more engineer. A careers page on your own site, with real photos of the vans and the team and a form that takes a minute, reaches people who would never send a CV to a job board. It sits next to your service pages and borrows their trust.
Electrical firms have the same pressures with different rules; their version is website design for electricians.
What a website for a plumbing firm costs
From1,500 euro
We build websites from 1,500 euro, at a fixed price per project agreed after a first conversation. What moves the price:
- How many services and townsEvery service page and town page is written from your own jobs, so a firm covering twelve towns needs more writing than one covering four.
- What the form doesA form that asks for photos is quick. A landlord booking for several properties, or a request that lands in your planning as a job, is custom work.
- Your photosYour own vans, engineers and finished bathrooms beat stock pictures. We work with what you have.
The first three months after launch
A new site is the start, not the end. These are the signals we look at with you, in this order.
| When | What we look at | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Week 1 | Every form sends, every phone number rings, every page loads fast on a phone | A broken form on an emergency page costs a job a day |
| Month 1 | Which pages people land on, and whether the site shows up for your own name | The basics before chasing new searches |
| Month 2 | Searches per service and town in Search Console, calls and directions from your Google profile | Shows which pages are starting to work |
| Month 3 | Requests per page, and which turned into a job | The number that pays for the site |
How long search takes to move is in how long SEO takes; a quick check of your current site is the SEO checker. After launch the site needs small, regular care; website maintenance explains what that covers. For the wider picture of where plumbing work comes from, read how to get more plumbing work.
