Animation
Animated video production for what you cannot film
An explainer or motion design for a service without a shop window. We do script, storyboard, voice and animation.

An explanation you get in half a minute.
An animated video shows what a camera cannot film: a way of working, a service without a shop window, what happens behind the scenes. This piece is one, and it plays as you scroll.
- Script and storyboard
- Every scene on paper, with the line that goes with it, before anything moves.
- Voice and captions
- A voice in your own language, and captions for those who watch without sound.
- Formats
- Landscape for your site and YouTube, vertical for Reels and Shorts, square for a feed.
An example of what we can build, with made-up names.
Some things you cannot film.
An accounting process, a piece of software, what happens after a client clicks order: a camera sees a screen or a desk. An animation shows the flow itself, step by step, in the shapes and colours of your brand.
An explainer of thirty seconds to two minutes does on a homepage, in an ad or in a quote what three paragraphs of text cannot: someone gets what you do, and why it works for them, in one go.
An animation grows in layers.
- ScriptWhat should the viewer know at the end? We write towards that, line by line and timed to the second.
- StoryboardA sketch per line of what appears on screen. You approve the story here, before anything moves.
- Style framesTwo or three finished frames in your colours and typefaces, so you see the look before we animate.
- Voice and musicA voice-over in your language, or text on screen only for those who watch without sound.
- Animation and formatsThe video in landscape for your site and YouTube, vertical for social, with captions.

Want to show who you are, film it. Want to explain how something works, animate it. Many companies have both: a company film on the about page, an explainer next to the service.
What makes an animation cost more.
After a first conversation you get a proposal with a price. What the market charges for an animated video is in our guide on costs.
- LengthEvery second of animation is work. Thirty seconds is another project than two minutes.
- StyleFlat shapes and text are faster than characters who walk and talk.
- Voice-over and languagesA professional voice, and every extra language is another recording and edit.
- FormatsLandscape, vertical and square, with and without captions.
A style that matches your brand.
An animation does not have to look like a cartoon. Often motion graphics are enough: shapes, figures and text in motion. We start from your logo, your colours and your typefaces, so the video reads as the same brand as your site and your ads.
We settle the storyboard together at the table.
Before anything moves, the story is on paper. We go through the storyboard with you, line by line, and cut what the viewer does not need.
A second round on a storyboard takes an hour; a second round on a finished animation takes days. That is why you sign off here, not at the end.
