Email marketing

Email marketing agency for small businesses that sell in Europe

A VBS colleague laughing in the sun in front of a historic facade in Ghent

We write and send your newsletter, set up the automated emails and make sure they arrive. With a list you are allowed to use.

A series that leaves, and lands.

Someone signs up, and from then on the series runs by itself. But an email that lands in spam was read by nobody. So we set up your domain first, and only then the first send.

Welcome series after sign-up
  1. At once

    Welcome to Atelier Noord

What you will get from us, and how often.

  2. Day 2

How a fitted wardrobe is made

The story behind the work, with photos from the workshop.

  3. Day 7

    Book your free measuring visit

One question, one button, and a date that suits you.

Three records in your DNS

  • SPF

Which servers may send for your domain.

    v=spf1 include:_spf.mailtool.example ~all
  • DKIM

A signature that proves the email did not change on the way.

    selector._domainkey.ateliernoord.example
  • DMARC

What Gmail and Yahoo do with mail that fails the test.

    v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:dmarc@ateliernoord.example

An example of what we can build, with invented names.

The one list that is really yours.

A platform can take your social media followers away tomorrow. The address of someone who signed up stays yours. A good newsletter brings customers back when they need you again, and a welcome flow tells a new subscriber in three emails who you are.

Our email marketing services for small business cover the whole job: the plan, the copy, newsletter design services, the list and the technical setup of your domain. You approve every email before it goes out. Prefer to write it yourself? Read how to write a newsletter first.

Five parts, one setup.

Your first email, step by step.

This is how we start, whether your list holds 200 addresses or 20,000.

  1. Check the listWhere did the addresses come from, and do you have consent? Better not to email an address without it. Read what double opt-in means and when the exception for customers applies.
  2. Set up the domainSPF, DKIM and DMARC on your domain, so Gmail and Outlook know the email really comes from you. Our DMARC checker shows how to check it yourself.
  3. Pick the toolMailchimp, Brevo, MailerLite, Flexmail or Klaviyo: we choose what fits your list and your webshop. Unsure? Our page on Mailchimp alternatives helps.
  4. Template and first emailA template in your house style and a first newsletter, tested in the main email apps on phone and laptop.
  5. Turn on the flowsThen the automated emails: welcome, abandoned cart, after a purchase. They run by themselves, and we check every month that they still hold up.

What has to be in place before you send

  • Consent for each address, and proof of it, under the EU ePrivacy rules and the GDPR
  • An unsubscribe link in every email that works in one click
  • Your name and address at the bottom, clear as the sender
  • SPF, DKIM and DMARC on your domain, as Google and Yahoo have required since 2024
  • Unsubscribes removed from the list straight away
  • A subject line that says what is inside

Email that leaves from your own domain.

For Park & Wash, the fleet form for businesses runs on VBS Mail, our own email service on Amazon SES. We put the same care for domain, sender and delivery into your newsletter.
